Marriage Licenses

Both parties to the marriage are required to attend in person and each must provide acceptable photo identification. Applications can be obtained through our office. Both parties must be at least 18 years of age.

If there have been any previous divorces, divorce certificates will be required.

A marriage license issued in Alberta is only valid for 90 days from the date of issue and valid only for weddings performed in Alberta.
