Knowledge Testing

We provide knowledge testing for all drivers licence classes, including air brake.

All tests are done in office during regular office hours. Exams are done from 9-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m., Monday to Friday. Please check the home page for confirmation of office hours. Appointments are not required and exams are written on a first come first serve basis. Any person under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian (guardianship papers must be presented each time) and must present valid photo identification.

An alternative study method is through flash cards, developed by the LDAA, and sponsored by the Association of Alberta Registry Agent. The cards are based from the Alberta Basic License Drivers Handbook and is available at our office.

Fee = $20

The individual must be able to pass a vision screening test in our office once passed.

Each test is 30 questions, multiple choice, and computer generated.  You must correctly answer 25 right to pass.

The use of cellphones or any other electronic device is prohibited while writing the test. There is zero tolerance for cheating, and such will result in suspension from writing the test in all of Alberta for 30 days.
